However, due to these characteristics, they are referred to as "difficult-to-machine materials," highlighting the challenges of cutting processing. On social media, there are prominent voices expressing that "nickel alloys are difficult, costly, and we don't want to take orders," making them a challenging material for craftsmen. But why is it said that processing them is difficult? In this article, we will explain the reasons why nickel alloys are considered difficult to process from the perspectives of "strength at high temperatures," "hardness," and "relationship with tools."
